1965–1966[]
STW-9 Perth began transmission on 12 June 1965. The callsign stood for Swan Television Western Australia. Upon launch, STW and rival TVW-7 launched a joint company entitled TV Facilities to allow the two Perth channels to share access to networked programs from the east coast.

Nine Perth[]
1978–2001[]
In 1978, STW-9 became an affiliate of the Nine Network. In 1989, Sunraysia Television acquired the station from Bond Media who were forced to sell due to cross-media ownership laws.
2001–2006[]
2006–2008[]
On 8 June 2007, Swan Television and Broadcasters was acquired from Sunraysia Television by WIN Corporation.
2008–2009[]
The dots didn't return in Adelaide or in Perth due to being owned by WIN Corporation during 2007.
2009–2010[]
2010–2012[]
2012–present[]
In 2013, Nine Entertainment Co. purchased STW from the WIN Corporation and gain control of the station on 30 September.
