Walt Disney Animation
During a corporate restructuring in 1986, Walt Disney Productions was renamed The Walt Disney Company and the animation division, renamed Walt Disney Animation, became a subsidiary of its film division, The Walt Disney Studios.
Walt Disney Feature Animation
In 1994, the Walt Disney Company built the current Feature Animation building located on 500 S. Buena Vista Street in Burbank, California. The company name (and logo) was changed to Walt Disney Feature Animation.
Walt Disney Animation Studios
On January 24, 2006, Disney announced that it would acquire Pixar for $7.4 billion. During this merge, John Lasseter assumed the role as President and CEO of Walt Disney Feature Animation; which he renamed Walt Disney Animation Studios. The first film to feature the animated counterpart to this logo was Meet the Robinsons, released on March 30, 2007.

On July 22, 2018, "Walt" was removed from the company name, the logo debuted in Ralph Breaks the Internet.
