BBC World Service Television was split into BBC World and BBC Prime on 26 January 1995.

1997–2008[]

BBC World

On 9 November 1997, BBC switched its corporate logo and launched its domestic news channel BBC News 24. The two channels used the same idents, but with different logos underneath.

BBC World News 2008

As part of a complete graphical overhaul of BBC News, the channel changed its name to BBC World News on 21 April 2008. On 14 January 2013, BBC World News moved to New Broadcasting House, London.

2019–2022[]

BBC World News 2019

On 15 July 2019, BBC World News updated its logo, alongside its British counterpart, BBC News. Now, the graphics utilize the then-new corporate BBC Reith font.

2022–2023[]

BBC World News 2022 (Boxed)

As part of the BBC's corporate rebrand on 20 October 2021 and in preparation of its 100th anniversary, BBC World News received the new logo on 25 April 2022, along with its British counterparts, BBC News and BBC Parliament. The BBC Blocks logo now uses the BBC Reith typeface.

BBC News 2022 (Alt)

BBC World News merged with the UK news channel on 3 April 2023, adopting the BBC News name. The South Asian feed carried BBC World News branding until 7 April 2023.
